Basketball Recap: Walter Northway Wins Going Away Against Minto

Walter Northway waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Minto Lakers with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Several Lakers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jena Smith, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ruth Fox, who had 14 points.

Walter Northway's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Minto, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Walter Northway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minto, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-30 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 15th.
