Soccer Recap: Newport Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Newport lost against Davenport back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Gorillas, falling 9-2. Newport were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-0.

Newport now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Davenport, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Coincidentally, Newport and Davenport will both be playing Upper Columbia Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Grizzlies will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Gorillas will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
