Baseball Recap: Brockton Comes Up Short

Brockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Sharon Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in April.

Brockton's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Sharon, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-17.

While Brockton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
