Football Recap: Plum Mustangs vs. Kiski Area Cavaliers

After flying high against Fox Chapel last Friday, Plum came back down to earth. The Plum Mustangs and the Kiski Area Cavaliers were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Plum Mustangs suffered a 15-14 defeat. The Mustangs gained 127 more yards on the day, but it was the Cavaliers that made the best use of them.

Plum's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nicholas Odom, who rushed for 141 yards on only 11 carries. Odom also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. Sloan Humphries also helped out with an impressive 127 receiving yards.
