Leonardtown strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against St. Charles as they made off with a 20-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four matchups by 14 runs or more so far this season.
Claire Radford made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Kendall Wathen was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Moore, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
