Baseball Recap: Okemah Panthers vs. Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats

Okemah fell victim to Chouteau-Mazie and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. Their rough 10-0 loss to the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats might stick with them for a while.

For Chouteau-Mazie's part, Seth Meyers looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Brady Nicholas was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of JR Newton, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
