Barneveld entered their tilt with Albany on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Comets 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-12.

Rowan Valcheff paced Barneveld's offense, picking up 11 kills. Valcheff got some help from Aleea Norton and her 30 assists. Norton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Barneveld's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Albany, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Barneveld wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Catholic Central on the 23rd. As for Albany, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Benton on the 21st.
