Softball Recap: Pittsfield Generals vs. Taconic Thunder
Pittsfield waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Taconic Thunder. Ten seems to be a good number for Pittsfield as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Neveah Lopez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Arpante, who went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
Pittsfield's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Taconic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
As of now, neither Pittsfield nor Taconic have any future games scheduled.
