             Valley Park entered their tilt with Orchard Farm on Wednesday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Orchard Farm Eagles with a sharp  18-8 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six  runs or more this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jenna Chitwood, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Haylie Pratt, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Valley Park was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. That's a new  trend for them: their average  batting average was 0% earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 33.2%.
 Valley Park's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-7-1. As for Orchard Farm, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home.
