Softball Recap: Randolph's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Randolph fell victim to Columbia and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 7-0. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Randolph got a good showing from Kayleigh McClain, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Randolph saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniella Gizienski, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Randolph fell to 3-1. As for Columbia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph will head out to face off against Montville on Saturday. As for Columbia, they will square off against Mount St. Dominic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
