There's no place like home for Goldthwaite, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Junction Eagles, posting a 60-30 win. Goldthwaite has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Catalina Salinas and Marilyn Martinez certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Salinas posted 16 points and seven steals, while Martinez almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played.

Goldthwaite has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Junction, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Goldthwaite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-38 victory against Harper on the 24th. Junction has also already played their next game, a 40-35 defeat against Johnson City on the 24th.
