Softball Recap: First Assembly Christian Comes Up Short

First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Fayette Academy Vikings, falling 22-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

First Assembly Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fayette Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Assembly Christian will venture away from home to take on Northpoint Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayette Academy, they will face off against Fayette Ware at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
