Volleyball Recap: South Walton Starts off Right with Win over Pace

South Walton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pace Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Seahawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2020.

While South Walton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pace scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Looking ahead, South Walton will challenge Beachside on Saturday. As for Pace, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Booker T. Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
