Basketball Recap: Williston Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Williston Coyotes were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 71-67 to Minot North. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Williston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Minot North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Williston will take on Dickinson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dickinson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. Minot North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
