Soccer Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County lost against Alleghany back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Alleghany, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Carroll County is set to face off against their familiar foe Glenvar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alleghany will square off against rival James River at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
