Hampton is 10-0 against Phoebus since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Hampton Crabbers will welcome the Phoebus Phantoms at 1:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hampton has five straight victories, Phoebus has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Two weeks ago, Hampton humbled Heritage with an 85-16 victory. The Crabbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-22, which was the final score in Phoebus' tilt against James River Midlothian on Saturday. The match marked the Phantoms' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hampton's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 48.9 points. As for Phoebus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything came up roses for Hampton against Phoebus in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 67-39 victory. Does Hampton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Phoebus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
