Baseball Recap: Herndon Comes Up Short

The Herndon Hornets came up short against the Woodgrove Wolverines on Wednesday and fell 6-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herndon's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Woodgrove, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Herndon will host Yorktown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodgrove, they will head out to face off against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
