Recap: Fruita Monument Wildcats vs. Loveland Red Wolves
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prairie View, Fruita Monument was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Loveland Red Wolves onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fruita Monument also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
The team relied heavily on Parker Noah, who went 3-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
The victory got Fruita Monument back to even at 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fruita Monument will square off against Chandler at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to face off against Grand Junction at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand Junction has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.75 runs per game on average), something Loveland will no doubt try to take advantage of.
