You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Crest's strategy against Yates Center on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Crest Lancers blew the Yates Center Wildcats out of the water with a 59-29 final score. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Yates Center saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cayten Cummings dropped a double-double with 25 points and 13 boards. That was a full 86.2% of Yates Center's points, marking the seventh time in a row Cummings has posted more than a third of the team's points.

The win was the third in a row for Crest, bringing their record for this year to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Yates Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.
