Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Classical Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oak Grove Classical Academy had won two straight games and Brody Prochnow did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls blew past the Jemez Valley Warrior 72-36 thanks in part to Prochnow, who posted 22 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Keenan Hauquitz also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in points (two).

Oak Grove Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Jemez Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Oak Grove Classical Academy will head out to face off against Cottonwood Classical Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove Classical Academy is facing Cottonwood Classical Prep at the right time seeing as Cottonwood Classical Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Jemez Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wingate at 5:30 p.m.
