Softball Recap: St. Brendan Comes Up Short

St. Brendan fell victim to Doral Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Firebirds, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Sabres in their meetings with the Firebirds: they've now lost six in a row.

St. Brendan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Doral Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

Coming up, St. Brendan will challenge Miami Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Victors will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Sabres surely won't give up without a fight. As for Doral Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commodores will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
