Basketball Recap: Bozeman Comes Up Short

Bozeman lost against Billings West back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bozeman Hawks were dealt a 67-27 loss at the hands of the Billings West Golden Bears. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 11th).

Bozeman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Billings West, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bozeman will challenge Russell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Billings West, they will head out on the road to take on Skyview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
