Basketball Recap: Colchester Falls Short Against Ranked Lyndon Institute

On Friday, Colchester faced Lyndon Institute in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Colchester Lakers fell 48-40 to the Lyndon Institute Vikings. The Lakers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Colchester now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Lyndon Institute, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colchester will head out to square off against Mt. Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyndon Institute, they will challenge Montpelier at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
