Softball Game Preview: Southview Cougars vs. Findlay Trojans

The Southview Cougars will take on the Findlay Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Southview has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southview is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Clay, falling 19-3.

Southview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Jacobs, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Findlay hadn't done well against Whitmer recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 8-6.

Findlay's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2. As for Southview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
