Basketball Recap: Declo Takes a Loss

Declo entered their match against Soda Springs on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Declo Hornets fell to the Soda Springs Cardinals 48-44. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hornets came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Cardinals are ranked 58th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Declo fell to 20-1. As for Soda Springs, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

Declo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Soda Springs, they will take on Wendell at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. Wendell has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three games.
