Football Recap: Clark County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Clark County's offense. They came up short against the Macon Tigers on Friday, falling 21-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Lukas Weaver threw for 96 yards on nine of 24 attempts. Reid Sammons was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Brennan Fuller rushed for 41 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Clark County and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Macon, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clark County will take on Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Macon, they will face off against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
