Basketball Recap: Mannford Takes a Loss

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Mannford was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Fairland Owls, falling 51-26. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mannford's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fairland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mannford will take on Kiefer in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairland, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Fairland Owls face off against the Afton Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
