Softball Recap: Edison Tech Takes a Loss

Edison Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-0 to the Pine Bush Bushmen. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Inventors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Edison Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pine Bush, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3-1.

Edison Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Lima Christian on the 27th. As for Pine Bush, they will face off against Middletown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Middie Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.4 runs per game on average), something the Bushmen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
