Basketball Recap: Newfield Takes a Loss

Newfield won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They lost 81-60 to the Moravia Blue Devils.

Newfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Moravia, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newfield will square off against Spencer-Van Etten at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moravia, they will face off against Union Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Moravia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
