Basketball Recap: Fellowship Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Fellowship Christian Academy lost against Mount Calvary Christian Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Fellowship Christian Academy had to suffer through a 70-8 loss at the hands of Mount Calvary Christian Academy.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alton Combs led the charge by putting up 22 points and four steals. That's the most steals Combs has posted since back in January. Jentzen Wade was another key player, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards.

Fellowship Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mount Calvary Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Fellowship Christian Academy will challenge Hendersonville Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Calvary Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
