Preview: Graham Red Devils vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets
Graham has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Jordan-Matthews Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Friday, Graham was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-37 to Bartlett Yancey.
Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cummings 38-36. The win was just what Jordan-Matthews needed coming off of a 63-12 loss in their prior contest.
Jordan-Matthews found their leader in underclassman Jada Scott, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brooklin Quee, who scored seven points.
Graham has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Jordan-Matthews, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
Graham took their win against Jordan-Matthews when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 43-20. Will Graham repeat their success, or does Jordan-Matthews have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
