Soccer Recap: Ledyard's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Ledyard's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Bacon Academy Bobcats by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Ledyard came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Bacon Academy are ranked 62nd).

Having lost for the first time this season, Ledyard fell to 7-1-1. As for Bacon Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, Ledyard will face off against Windham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bacon Academy, they will take on Morgan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
