Recap: Two Rivers Warriors vs. Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders

On Friday, Two Rivers came up short against Cretin-Derham Hall and fell 54-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Two Rivers has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Two Rivers still got an impressive performance from Izzy Kirchner, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. Elayna Vannett was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Two Rivers will square off against South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cretin-Derham Hall and Forest Lake will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Forest Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Cretin-Derham Hall likes a good challenge.
