Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Triumphs

Lighthouse Christian lost to Seymour back in April of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Lighthouse Christian walked away with an 8-5 win over Seymour.

Paxton Bridges was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Landon Hilburn was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Lighthouse Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Seymour's record is now 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will welcome Pleasant Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. The game will give Seymour their first taste of in-conference action this season.
