Softball Recap: Rockwood Takes a Loss

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-7 to the Roane County Yellowjackets. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 14-3 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rockwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Roane County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwood will host Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwood is facing Midway at the right time seeing as Midway is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Roane County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Polk County at 6:00 p.m.
