Volleyball Recap: Eastern Greene Comes Up Short

Eastern Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bedford North Lawrence Stars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eastern Greene took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

Eastern Greene's record is now 7-14. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they moved to 12-11 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Eastern Greene will welcome North Daviess at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Columbus North on the 30th.
