Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Prairie

There's no place like home for Prairie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down the Kamiah Kubs 62-45 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-30 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Kamiah still got an impressive performance from Emma Krogh, who posted 17 points. That was a full 37.8% of Kamiah's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Audrey Puckett was another key player, putting up ten points.

Prairie's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Kamiah, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-4.

Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kamiah has also already played their next contest, a 46-15 victory against Potlatch on the 1st.
