Basketball Recap: Watertown-Mayer Takes a Loss

Watertown-Mayer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 76-52 to the Annandale Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Royals have suffered since March 1, 2024.

Watertown-Mayer's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Annandale, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Coming up, Watertown-Mayer will take on Dassel-Cokato at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Annandale, they will welcome Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
