Basketball Recap: Perrydale Skates Past Elkton with Ease

Perrydale had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Elkton on Tuesday. The Perrydale Pirates blew past the Elkton Elks, posting a 50-18 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.

Perrydale's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.6 points per game. As for Elkton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Perrydale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-25 victory against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter on the 11th. As for Elkton, they will square off against Cove at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
