Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt's tournament run continued when they took on Rosary Academy on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 8-5 to the Royals.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Rosary Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2-1.

Coming up, Roosevelt will head out to challenge Santiago at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Sharks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rosary Academy, they will square off against Los Alamitos at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Griffins will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
