Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Miguel Martinez stepped things up a notch to give Wells the 'W'. Martinez turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Martinez's strong effort led Wells over Mineral County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Leopards are 7-2 against the Serpents going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
