Game recap: Wray High School Football Team beats Resurrection Christian

The scores gave the senior 18 touchdowns for the year.

The score was knotted at 21 heading into the half. Wray (Colo.) took the lead for good on a Cade Reinick touchdown run with 9:00 left in the third quarter.

A 14-point fourth quarter was enough to cement the win for the Eagles, as they pushed the final margin of victory to 28.

Resurrection Christian (Loveland, Colo.)'s Luke Mondt played well. The sophomore quarterback threw three touchdowns and kicked one extra point. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.



The defeat comes as a step back for Resurrection Christian, which notched a 57-30 victory over Cornerstone Christian Academy in its previous outing. The loss snapped the Cougars' 2-game winning streak.

Resurrection Christian (4-4) will play a 1A North Central game against Highland next week, while Wray (7-1) will take on Holyoke also in a 1A North Central game.
