Fleming and Caliche are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fleming has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with five straight losses, while Caliche will come in with four straight victories.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fleming took on McClave on Saturday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 65-43. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

Despite the defeat, Fleming saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaron Monroe posted nine points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Monroe. Dylon Monroe was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caliche). They breezed past Creek Valley to the tune of 79-25 on Thursday. While the Buffaloes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Caliche, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
