Softball Recap: Hoover Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Hoover barely beat Curry the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buccaneers blew past the Yellowjackets 10-4 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buccaneers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Hoover's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-14. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Curry, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 42-3.

Hoover has already played their next game, a 15-1 defeat against Orange Beach on the 19th. As for Curry, they will head out to challenge Hewitt-Trussville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
