Basketball Recap: Andrea Trujillo Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Truckee

There's no place like home for Hug, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They took down the Truckee Wolverines 42-26 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-33 back in January.

Hug's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrea Trujillo, who posted 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those 19 points gave Trujillo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cori Carrier, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

Hug now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Truckee, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Hug will challenge Fernley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Truckee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
