Volleyball Recap: Westlake Gets the Win

Westlake saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Alta Hawks by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunder.

Kilika Tafa paced Westlake's offense, picking up six kills. Tafa got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his nine assists. Cundiff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Westlake's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Alta, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Westlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cedar Valley on the 7th. As for Alta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Bingham on the 7th.
