Volleyball Game Preview: Santee Warriors vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

Santee hasn't had much luck against Omaha Nation recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will square off against the Chiefs. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Santee not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Marty Indian as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Santee never let Marty Indian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 29-27, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Omaha Nation hadn't done well against Omaha Christian Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Chiefs blew past the Guardians 3-0.

Omaha Nation walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-11.

Santee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Omaha Nation, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Santee couldn't quite get it done against Omaha Nation when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
