If Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brevard HEAT on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Vero Beach Indians on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.

Audrey Herbert paced Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's offense, picking up 18 kills. Herbert got some help from Julie Watt and her 36 assists. Brooke Ellingson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Vero Beach, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
