After a string of eight wins, Camden County's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holmes Aces. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Camden County haven't been shut out since back in August.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-2. As for Holmes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-3.

Looking ahead, Camden County will head out on the road to take on Perquimans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holmes, they will host Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
