Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain City Christian Academy Lions vs. Palmer Moose + How To Watch

Mountain City Christian Academy is 0-5 against Palmer since August of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Lions will venture away from home to take on the Moose at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mountain City Christian Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Ketchikan. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Palmer not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Grace Christian with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Palmer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-22.

Mountain City Christian Academy now has a winning record of 19-18-2. As for Palmer, their record now sits at 22-18-4.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Mountain City Christian Academy has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.9 aces per game.
